PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy is important to us. We designed this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) to cover how we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store your information. Please read the Policy carefully. If you have any questions, inquiries, requests or complaints concerning the Policy or our information practices, please contact us at info@moonmelover.com.

BY DOWNLOADING OR USING THE MOON ME LOVERTM MOBILE SOFTWARE APPLICATION AND USING THE RELATED SERVICE (COLLECTIVELY REFERRED TO AS THE “SERVICE”), YOU AGREE TO THIS POLICY.

1.              Information We Collect. To enhance your experience with the Service, we may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information. This could include, but is not limited to, your name, email, street address, unique mobile device identifier (“Device ID”), and Internet Protocol (“IP”) address (collectively referred to as “Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII”). Additionally, we may collect non-personal information, which is data that does not directly associate with you or any specific individual (“Non-Identifying Information”). Non-Identifying Information, such as age, mobile device type, mobile carrier, and geographic location, is aggregated to better understand user experience and subsequently improve our Services and Third-Party Mobile Applications.

2.           How We Collect Information. We employ various methods for gathering information, including the following:

(i)              Direct Contact. We may ask you to provide Personal Information or Non-Identifying Information whenever you interact with us.

(ii)           Cookies. We may use “cookies,” which are digital files containing small amounts of text and/or data often used as anonymous unique identifiers, to analyze traffic patterns and gauge the efficacy of our marketing communications. We may send these to your computer or mobile device. The types of cookies we use could include: session cookies, for operating the Service; preference cookies, to remember your preferences and various settings; and security cookies, which we use for security purposes.

(iii)      Log Data. When you use the Service, we may collect certain data and information from your phone, known as "Log Data." This may include information like your device’s IP address, device name, operating system version, app configuration when using our Service, and the time and date of your Service use, among other statistics.

(iii)         Email Messaging. The Service may employ email messaging with click-through URLs linked to other content within the Service. We track this click-through data to gauge interest in topics, evaluate the Service’s usability, and gather other information essential for maintaining or improving the Service’s functionality.

3.              Limiting Our Ability to Collect Information. You can control the scope of information we collect by adjusting your device’s settings. The collection of certain types of information (such as your location data) partly depends on your device, operating system, and account settings. For instance, you can toggle your device’s location settings on or off. Moreover, you can disable cookies by modifying your browser settings to either stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from visited pages. However, please note that if you choose not to accept cookies, some parts of our Service may not be accessible or functional due to limited capabilities.

4.              Use as a Non-Registered User. The Service may permit non-registered users to access some of its content and functionality. For such users, we only collect the Device ID and do not gather any other information. However, we cannot ensure the preservation of any data associated with non-registered users.

5.              How We Use Collected Information. Both Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) and Non-Identifying Information may be used independently or in aggregate with information obtained from other users of the Service. Your PII will be used solely to facilitate communication with you and to develop, deliver, and improve our Service. We will not share your PII with any third parties. However, the Non-Identifying Information may be aggregated and shared with our business partners and/or utilized for the following purposes:

(i)             to develop, deliver, and enhance the Service;

(ii)           to recommend products, promotions, or opportunities such as participation in surveys, contests, or sweepstakes; and

(iii)         for market research that supports our mission to deliver a more valuable service to you and other users.

6.              Receiving Promotional and Advertising Content: By using the Service, you consent to receiving advertising or promotional content that may contain links to third-party mobile applications. We may use your Device ID to track clicks or other advertisement fulfillment metrics. We, or our business partners, may employ ad-serving technologies that utilize cookies, beacons, tracking pixels, and other technologies to gather Non-Identifying Information. Depending on your device and its operating system, you may be able to prevent your device’s ad identifier from being used for interest-based advertising or reset your device’s ad identifier through your device settings. Advertising providers may leverage your location data to improve ad localization and personalize ads to your local language. Our use of your Device ID does not allow us to personally identify you, and this information is not stored in conjunction with your account.

7.              Payments. We may offer paid products, services, and/or subscriptions within the Service. In such instances, we utilize third-party services for payment processing (e.g., payment processors). Your payment card details are neither stored nor collected by us. Instead, this information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors, whose use of your personal information is dictated by their respective privacy policies. These payment processors comply with the standards set by PCI-DSS, as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a collaboration of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. The PCI-DSS requirements contribute to the secure handling of payment information.

8.              Modifying or Removing Information. As an account user, you can update or delete the Personal Information in your profile by logging into your account. Alternatively, you can email us to request the deletion of your Personal Information from our database. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to comply with your request. However, we may retain an archived copy of your records as mandated by law or for legitimate business reasons. Please note that Shared Data cannot be retrieved from third parties once disclosed. Be aware that certain information is necessary for accessing and using the Service. Therefore, a request to delete your Personal Information from our database may result in the suspension or termination of your Service access.

9.              Protecting Your Personal Information. We prioritize your privacy and implement administrative, physical, and electronic measures to protect your information from identity theft and unauthorized access. We will never, at any time, request your credit card information, account ID, login password, or national identification numbers via non-secure or unsolicited communication methods (e.g., email, telephone, mobile device).

10.           Security and Disclosure of Security Breach. While we strive to protect your information, especially your personal data, it's important to note that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure and infallible. We are committed to providing as secure a Service as possible, but absolute security cannot be guaranteed. In the event of a security breach, we will make all legally required disclosures of any breach affecting the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored Personal Data. These disclosures will be made to you via email or conspicuous posting within the App and/or on our website as swiftly as possible, in compliance with (i) the legitimate needs of law enforcement or (ii) any measures necessary to determine the extent of the breach and restore the integrity of the data system.

11.           Changes to This Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Therefore, we recommend that you review this page periodically for any changes. We will also notify you of any significant changes by sending you an email or via an in-Service notification. Your continued use of the Service after these changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Policy.
